The best way to learn is to learn from someone who is where you want to be.
So I hoped on a call with 4 successful music creators to ask their secrets to making $100,000 with their music.

π± How people scroll on social media
Last week, I took the bus.
Nothing crazy, I know.
But because I am currently in France, I don't have access to internet, except with wi-fi.
Naturally, I didn't have access to wi-fi in the bus, so I observed the landscape - and the people.
A woman next to me was scrolling on TikTok.
So I observed her behavior to learn from it.
She was scrolling a lot!!!
But some videos did grab her attention.
Here's what I noticed:
If a video had no text, too much text or no visual action in the first 3-5 seconds, it was an instant scroll!!!
When I say "instant", I mean INSTANT!
Less than 1 second and she was scrolling already!
So learn from that and make sure that ALL your short-form social media videos start with some type of visual actions and have 1-2 sentences of text.

A couple weeks ago, I released a new song called 'Dilemma' in collaboration with my friend formerly known as Kenji.
It is the first track I made combining my own sound signature with a strong melodic house influence.

π Weekly Reflection Ritual
One thing I started to do this year is the Sunday Weekly Review Ritual I got from one of my favourite creators, Ali Abdaal.
It usually takes me 30 minute and has been key in my success recently.
First, I review the previous week by asking a series of questions including:
- Review the previous weekβs accomplishments
- Review the previous weekβs challenges
- Look ahead to the next 2 weeks and see whatβs coming up
- Revisit your goals to ensure theyβre still aligned with your priorities
Those questions allow me to assess my progress, see which areas I need to work on and make sure that I stay on track for everything.
Then, I prepare my next week by:
- Making a list of everything I need to do
- Scheduling time in my calendar for health, music and business activities.
